Fun for Everyone

The Birchwood Lions Club will celebrate their 51st Annual Bluegill Festival Friday, July 18 through Sunday, July 20. Have down-home fun when the village of Birchwood celebrates their annual Bluegill Festival. Activities include Live Music, the annual baseball tournament, a the coronation of the Bluegill Festival Queen, and much much more. The whole family will love to watch the Sunday Parade and the Fireman's Water Fight - where firefighters from neighboring communities battle it out with their high-pressure hoses. Bluegill Fishing Contest

The Annual Area Lakes Bluegill Fishing Contest runs Wed. July 16-Sunday July 20, ends at noon.  $75 given for the largest Bluegill during the period, if wearing a button; $25 if no button.  Continuing the Junior Fishing contest this year, ages up to 14.  Adult category, ages 15 and up.  Register your catch at Seasonal Power Toys.

Softball Tournament

Men’s Softball Tournament is July 20-21.  Teams from Wisconsin and Minnesota will participate

July 18: 4:00 p.m.-dark
July 19: 7:00 a.m. – dark
July 20: 8:00 a.m.-dark/championship game 5:00 p.m.

Crafter and Vendor information

Crafters, Retailers and Artists are located on Main Street the Saturday during Bluegill Festival. 
Where: At the corner of Birch Ave. and Main St.
When: Saturday, 9:00-ish to 3:30-ish.
